Carefully crafted non-alcoholic beers, movements such as “One Year No Beer,” high-end restaurants adding non-alcoholic cocktails to the menu, and even businesses offering alcohol-free events. What’s it all about? Millennials seem to be getting tired of alcohol-infused happy hours, concerts, and other social affairs. And while it’s certainly possible to be sober and enjoy the company of friends while alcohol is being served, it’s often more comfortable and more enjoyable when everyone is looking through the same alcohol-free glasses, so to speak, and has the same mindset. Those who have jumped on the sober socializing bandwagon say that doing so not only allows for a more authentic experience, it’s also more fun. Sounds like a win-win!
